When does stop-motion beat CGI?
When the product is tactile and the charm is in the imperfection: food, cosmetics, craft, anything you want to feel hand-made. CGI wins when the camera has to do something a camera cannot.
Can animation be combined with live action?
Yes. Several films on this site mix the two. It is planned at the treatment stage so the grade and the light agree.
How much does an animated film cost?
